Robbie is one of my one-click authors. I am on his street team and I review a lot of his books. He sends me a lot of his books to review, but I also buy a lot of them because I want to make sure my review on Amazon counts. They are also that good. So I guess you could say that I am biased. But there is a reason for that and trust me, read his stuff and you will understand why.
Every book I read from Robbie has a different feel and a different voice. To me, that is very impressive. None of his series, read the same. I’m drawn to his books because of his characters. The main character was so well written, she became more like a real person and not just a flat character from a book. That means a lot to me as a reader. I get tired of reading stories with non-developed stories. It gets boring. In the beginning, I didn’t like Karla. I really wanted to either smack her or shake some sense into her. It’s not because of her lifestyle choice it’s because she was too hung-up in the past. This was a simple story with a strong underlying life message. Yet, at no time did I feel like the author “preached” his beliefs. All of these characters were just regular people trying to figure out what the believe and where they fit in this world. I need to add that this is book two of this series.
I forgot it was a sequel and I did not read book one. I really do not feel like I missed anything by not reading book one first.
Karla Harper is a wild card, believing romance only serves one purpose, to get her ahead in life. She’s not all caught up in flowers and pretty language. She wants to get in, have her fun, and get out.
Mitch Greenway loves to be in control and wants to set Karla free by giving her the safety net she doesn’t know she needs, as well as the relationship she swears she doesn’t desire. He craves the wildness she possesses, wanting to share in it and explore it together without judgment.
She refuses to be tamed, while he’s determined to do just that. Could there be two people whose tastes in adventure blends so perfectly that they complement each other, but even more so, takes it to the hottest level? Mitch is determined to find out. That is, if he can get Karla to sit still long enough.

Robbie started writing as a way to escape – escape his teachers, escape his fears, even to escape his insecurities and doubts. However, his stories of seduction and adventure, not only allowed him to hide in the lives of his characters but also captivated those who wanted to escape with him. Now, he enjoys a full-time career as a storyteller and novelist and invites readers to run away with him- to escape, getting lost in the seduction of adventure.
When he is not writing, Robbie can be found on his back porch enjoying a cigar, a scotch, and a good story. He derives pleasure from his large family and his crazy group of friends who provide the inspiration for his blog The Mess that Is Me.
He is the author of the Urban Fantasy series, The Warrior of the Way, along with the paranormal series, The Witches of Savannah. His Contemporary Romance series includes The Rutherford Series, The Harper Twins, and the Fangirls series.
