12 Books of Christmas~ Reviews 7 & 8

This love story involves Christmas, a hot guy, AND chocolate! Could it BE any better?! This sweet story was fun to read. I enjoyed the interplay between characters and the story development.

Natalie LeClair will never forget the kiss she shared with Cooper King three years ago. Too bad he’s the enemy, back in her life to buy her grandmother’s chocolate company right from under her nose.
Cooper King will stop at nothing to acquire LeClair’s Chocolate Shop and its famed recipe. There’s only one wrinkle. Natalie is standing in his way, and he wants nothing more than to rekindle their romance. Cooper longs to return to just business as usual, but Natalie may be the sweetest distraction he’s ever imagined.
Novella-length romance

HOLLY BLAIR lives in the Midwest with her husband, son, and two feisty cats. She loves writing small-town romance and creating sweet happily-ever-afters. Born in December, Holly is a self-professed holiday nut. She revels in spending cozy nights nestled next to the fireplace with a good book and a cup of hot cocoa.

I enjoy this series a ton! These characters are so real and I get pulled into every one of these stories. If you like love and happy endings AND Christmas, pick up these books.

In one day, London Walsh finds out her ex is going to be her boss and that her parents are getting a divorce—and they want her to referee the situation. So when she’s offered the chance to spend the holidays in her old hometown of Christmas Falls, far away from all the drama, she jumps on it.
But the quaint town doesn’t feel quite like the home it once was. London shed the goth image that defined her in high school long ago, but no one recognizes the woman she’s become.
Except for Andy Broll, London’s childhood next door neighbor. He recognizes her immediately, which sends London’s heart fluttering as she starts to see Andy in a whole different light. But when her time in Christmas Falls doesn’t go as planned, will London face it head on? Or will she find a reason to run?

By day, Becky Monson is a mother to three young children, and a wife. By night, she escapes with reading books and writing. An award-winning* author, Becky uses humor and true-life experiences to bring her characters to life. She loves all things chick-lit (movies, books, etc.), and wishes she had a British accent. She has recently given up Diet Coke for the fiftieth time and is hopeful this time will last… but it probably won’t.

*Winner: Readers’ Favorite Book Award 2016, 2017
